Corporate Identity ~Muze~ Amie

My company is Muze Guitars and accessories. It was established in Seattle Washington but hopes of expanding the whole West Coast. The target audiences are people who play or want to learn to play guitars, young and old alike, and anyone needing quality guitars or accessories. I chose a simple logo that would appeal to a hip crowd that is into the whole Rockstar image.  I chose mostly red and darker colors for my logo and website, clean and classic but a little bit edgy as well.  The slogan is "Where Inspiration Begins" since the name of my company is Muze and a muse is one who inspires, I thought it fit.

The font I used was IMPACT

I like this store front because it is small but looks like it's a prime location for a music store. I envision this store in a busy neighborhood in the city, maybe in the arts district or nearby some rock and jazz clubs.

  1. Out of all of these designs, I believe the storefront and the delivery truck are the strongest pieces. The logo exhibits typical rock music colors (red, black, gray) so I like that a lot as well. The commercial was a little too long and some of the text was really hard to read. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this entire project an 8.

  2. I really think the colors you chose for your business were perfect for the products sold. Unfortunately, my dear, I found the style sheet lacking in information. If I were a fellow designer who received your project (say you were sick and out of the office) I would find myself a bit lost if all I had were a printout of your style sheet and no files. That might be nick-picking a bit though...Anywho, moving on. I think the layout you used on the billboard is realistic and that I've seen it before, driving down the road. You utilized the space nicely. However, there's something about the text or font (can't quite put my finger on it) that makes it look...fake? Your storefront, van, and website look great! I don't have any complaints on those at all. The website you did? I think I've visited it before! (Just kidding, lol.) Your signage was okay, though I would be careful on spacing. In some of them, the text is literally touching the edge. Not a big problem, overall. As for your commercial, I can honestly say that I live in Shawnee and I've seen TONS of commercials on TV that remind me of yours. Some of them were really bad in quality too! For the short amount of time we had, I think you successfully did a good commercial! Good job, Amie. Enjoy your summer!

  3. Ok. Your logo is pretty cool. Its not over the top and its not lacking. The contrast of the colors are working. Even your van fits the rocker style you were going for. The website turned out very well and professional looking. The only thing I would change about it is the type at the bottom beneath "Mother's Day Sale" I would have probably put a stroke using a dark color so it stands out against the white lines in the background. Other than that, great job!

  4. i like how you allowed us to see the logo on items. i felt as it it made the logos stronger in a way. i also like your commercial it was simple.. music playing that pertained to you theme of your final and you also showed what all was supple to be in your store.

  5. Really nice job Amy! Like the A-Team-esque van :D and I really like your T-Shirt as well. The string packaging is nice too, very clean. I've seen actual sets of strings that looked less professional than yours.

  6. This all looks awesome! I like your colors especially, reminiscent of B-Smooth. The billboard looks a real billboard on the side of a highway, but a little stretched. The corner store looks`super realistic! The website is cool, the fonts on the tabs are perfect. I wish I had some advice to give, but you did too good a job, sorry Aaron, it looks awesome as it is.
